VACANCY: Admin/Office Administrator

South African Value Education (SAVE) is a growing company that specialises in construction and engineering training and solutions. We are looking for an all-round Admin person to join the team. This person will have a variety of responsibilities which include seeing to in-office and out of office needs of the business.

         GENERAL JOB INFO:

  • The role is based at the George office.
  • This is a part-time position with an opportunity to become full time.

       RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Petty cash and reconciliation
  • Travel and venue bookings and logistics
  • Basic bookkeeping
  • Assist with SETA training related administration as required – training will be provided
  • Office administration and assistance to managers
  • Payroll experience is beneficial

       SKILLS:

  • Self-driven and takes initiative
  • Very strong admin skills
  • Must be willing to learn
  • Must be able to work under pressure
  • Attention to detail
  • Conscientious
  • Team player

Minimum Requirements

  • At least 5 years’ relevant experience
  • Computer literate, Excel, Word, Outlook and Google proficiency
  • Relevant tertiary administrative qualification advantageous
  • Valid EB Driving licence

VACANCY: Training Practitioners

South African Value Education is a growing company that specialises in construction and engineering training and solutions. We are looking for CETA registered training practitioners to join the team on a part-time basis.  SAVE’s ethos is to provide training where it is needed most and we do not have a central training centre; rather, our trainers travel to the communities and projects where the training is conducted locally..

Responsibilities

         FACILITATION:

  • Plan and prepare for training sessions.
  • Manage resources.
  • Conduct training.
  • Review training material.

        ASSESSMENT:

  • Plan for and prepare learners for assessment.
  • Manage and conduct assessments.
  • Assess the evidence and make judgement on candidates’ competence.
  • Record all information as required by CETA
  • Communicate Assessment feedback to candidates
  • Assist learners with the compilation of their Portfolio of Evidence (PoE)
  • Review and revise assessment process.
  • Review assessment instruments.

        GENERAL:

  • Report on training and/or assessment interventions
  • Record keeping
  • All training administration relating to SETA and SAVE requirements
  • Engage with Clients

Minimum Requirements

  • Good workplace experience and technical knowledge
  • Willingness to travel (travel expenses covered)
  • Driver’s licence
  • Computer literate
  • Fluent in 2 languages
  • Good people skills

Minimum Qualifications

  • CETA registered Facilitator and Assessor (specifically in qualifications 24133, 24173, 20813 & 65949)
  • ETDP qualified Facilitator & Assessor
