VACANCY: Training Practitioners

South African Value Education is a growing company that specialises in construction and engineering training and solutions. We are looking for CETA registered training practitioners to join the team on a part-time basis. SAVE’s ethos is to provide training where it is needed most and we do not have a central training centre; rather, our trainers travel to the communities and projects where the training is conducted locally..

Responsibilities

FACILITATION:

Plan and prepare for training sessions.
Manage resources.
Conduct training.
Review training material.

ASSESSMENT:

Plan for and prepare learners for assessment.
Manage and conduct assessments.
Assess the evidence and make judgement on candidates’ competence.
Record all information as required by CETA
Communicate Assessment feedback to candidates
Assist learners with the compilation of their Portfolio of Evidence (PoE)
Review and revise assessment process.
Review assessment instruments.

GENERAL:

Report on training and/or assessment interventions
Record keeping
All training administration relating to SETA and SAVE requirements
Engage with Clients

Minimum Requirements

Good workplace experience and technical knowledge
Willingness to travel (travel expenses covered)
Driver’s licence
Computer literate
Fluent in 2 languages
Good people skills

Minimum Qualifications

CETA registered Facilitator and Assessor (specifically in qualifications 24133, 24173, 20813 & 65949)
ETDP qualified Facilitator & Assessor
