Rinus has 35 years of experience in the construction industry. He began his career in conventional civil engineering but has since transitioned towards a greater focus on construction’s beneficiaries and the social aspects of the industry. This includes working closely with affected communities and contributing to the human development of construction industry role players.
Rinus loves spending time with his wife and family, particularly enjoying outdoor activities. He also has a strong interest in observing social, political, and religious trends in society.
Rinus has been happily married for more than three decades and has three adult daughters. His family is his most treasured possession.

Ashwin started his career in 2002 in the construction industry and has worked his way up the ladder to junior site assistant. Over time he grew his breath of experience in Community and Social Facilitation, Training & Development in Civil Engineering and Construction processes and Programme Management and Construction mentoring. During his time at SAVE he has taken SAVE’s philosophy of training seriously and upgraded with a BA Degree and Higher Certificate.
He has successfully managed quit a few long term and multi year training programmes, and has been part of two Upgrading of Informal Settlements Programmes (UISP) which have both received IMESA awards for excellence.
Ashwin loves watching sport, playing table tennis and continuous learning. Ashwin is also engaged with community upliftment projects in his private time, where he is involved with youth and community football and cricket clubs. He is a firm believer that trust is gained through respect, honesty and professionalism.

Consultant on IPTN Projects on Operator Licence and Engagement
Lauren oversees accreditation compliance and manages internal training processes from initiation through to completion. Her role ensures that all training activities align with regulatory requirements, quality standards, and continuous improvement practices. In addition, she act as a consultant on IPTN projects, providing operating licence support, information management, and advisory input on licence applications. Her responsibilities further include stakeholder liaison and consultation, as well as monitoring, compliance, data collection, and reporting.

Sabiha’s primary roles are Marketing Director and is the lead for Business Development Operations. Her role gets her involved with most aspects of the business and the team.

Sabiha started her working life in advertising and moved to marketing after 6 years. She has worked with clients across many industries from financial services and retail at a corporate level to developing strategy for SMMEs and QSEs through her own business.
Sabiha passionately believes in educational opportunities for everyone and is why SAVE is such a natural fit for her. She also enjoys trying new foods and sport. Sabiha likes travel and spends most weekends cycling, trail running and with family and friends.
